FORM LETTER TO COMPLAIN TO LANDLORD

Dear XXXXXXX,

The College and Cultural Center Neighborhood Association (CCNA) is a volunteer organization that works in many ways to enhance quality of life in the neighborhood and to maintain the value of our property investments. Oftentimes, people are unaware of ordinances and rules that exist that make things in a neighborhood nice for everyone. We are writing to you today on behalf of the CCNA ( OR as interested neighbors) to inform you of possible violations of city code (Or of undesirable activities) taking place at your rental property located at XXXX Street.

Because protecting property values is important to property owners, both resident owners and landlords, the CCNA appreciates landlords who encourage their tenants to be good neighbors and who help keep houses in the neighborhood occupied and well maintained. We also know that it may be difficult to watch every property closely. That is why we have sent this note to you today.

Neighbors have reported that XXXXXXXXXXXXX. This is a possible violation of the XXXXXX code, and it should be addressed either by yourself or your tenant(s). (OR We feel this situation is detrimental to the overall quality and safety of the neighborhood and would appreciate your addressing this issue with your tenants.)

Thank you in advance for addressing this problem. Please do not hesitate to contact me (OR us) if you have any questions or need assistance in resolving this issue.
